Our Story

Built by people who lived broken buying processes

B2B buying is broken. We know because we spent years running it from the seller side.

Why Aligned exists

Complex B2B deals involve a committee. Legal, finance, IT, and the business buyer all weigh in. Documents hit five versions. Action items disappear across a dozen email threads.

We saw the pattern across deal after deal, year after year. Existing tools served the seller's workflow, not the buyer's experience. CRMs track seller activity but do little for buyers making the decision.

Aligned is the collaboration layer both sides needed. A shared room makes the buyer an active deal participant, not just a CRM contact. Both sides own the action plan, see the documents, and track live status without email ping-pong.

We began with one deal room format, then refined it through hundreds of real sales cycles before opening Aligned to the world. We learned that deals move faster when both sides work together toward the same outcome.

What we believe

  • The buyer experience is part of the product

Every buyer interaction shapes their view of your company. A chaotic buying process suggests implementation will be chaotic too.

  • Deals close with shared ownership

A deal pushed only by the seller will stall. Aligned gives buyers ownership, making progress their goal as well.

  • Clarity lowers anxiety

Unclear deal status drives excessive follow-ups, pressure discounts, and unreliable close dates. Live visibility changes the pattern.

  • Less beats feature bloat

We kept the room format intentionally simple. Buyers should use it without training. If they struggle, the deal slows down.
